Canon has unveiled its GL2 digital video (DV) camera. The stylish camcorder offers full 1.7-megapixel video quality -- delivered by a three-CCD (charge-coupled device) configuration -- which yields "outstanding picture quality, highly accurate color reproduction and [..] no color noise." The camera features FireWire connectivity; includes several exposure modes; features audio and picture adjustments; and offers various aspect ratios.
