DoorStop licensed to Symantec

Late last week, Open Door Networks officially announced that it has licensed its DoorStop firewall technology to Symantec for use in its Norton Internet Security and Norton Personal Firewall for Macintosh. Current owners of DoorStop Personal Firewall will continue to be supported by Open Door and will be able to upgrade for an unspecified "special price." Open Door says it will contine to sell its server security and file sharing solutions and promises to bring to market "new products under development," including its Who's There product noted earlier today.
