Prosoft Engineering is now accepting orders for NetWare Client For Mac OS X IP Edition, offering "greatly reduced" pricing for all pre-orders through July 12th. Purchasers will receive the current beta version of the client immediately, and will receive the final release, which is scheduled to be shipping on July 15. NetWare Client For Mac OS X IP Edition is the next generation client for Mac OS connectivity to Novell networks. It is built completely from the ground up with features such as a simple install procedure, automatic IP connectivity (no AppleTalk needed), compatibility NetWare 5 and 6, NDS Browsing, RSA Encrypted Authentication, full native NCP implementation, a ubiquitous menu for login within any application, support for NSS volumes, volume Automount upon NetWare login and both command-line and GUI-based interfaces for mounting/unmounting volumes.
