Is it faster? It's a pig on a Dual 533 with 1.5gb of RAM

    mm, why no speed increase

That's the biggest complaint from me and many others from what i read. Yet they release an update with no speed increases? Strange...

    Wish...

... that apple would switch to a 2.4 Ghz Intel chip next month, not only MacOSX would be as snappy as it is today in most things (grant it some AltiVec enhanced items might not be as hot!), Virtual PC would run rather well...(duh!)

Can't believe I just said the 'I' word (almost as bad as the 'M' word). Just not happy with Motorola and with Wal Mart selling $299 Linux boxes, it's just a matter of time when the Mac will be squeezed from another direction. (need Minimum 1.5 Ghz at Macworld!)

    dream on

keeping dreaming for 1.5GHz, MacWorld will be topping out at 1.4GHz.

    performance

Connectix has said in the past that VPC will never run as well under OS X as it does under OS 9. A 'point' upgrade is not going to make much of a difference..
