Apple releases AppleScript 1.8.3

Apple's AppleScript 1.8.3 provides "increased stability of scripts and script applications, improved Unicode support for text and runs applications created with the latest version of AppleScript Studio." It is currently only available via the Software Update under OS X and has not been posted to Apple's Recent Software Downloads.

    micro-versioning?

    are these kinda things considered a part of the OS, (like with the networking update a few days ago), and if so are we seeing tiny version-upping ( 10.1.5.0.0.0.1...) or is it just "there." ?

    Build number

    Check te build number of the OS under the "About this Mac" screen. Click the version number and you'll see the build number.
    The network update took it from something like 5S60 to 5S66.
    So, it's still the same version to your eyes, but Apple knows it's different. It probably is 10.1.5.03, but they only show us the first 3.

    Does it improve iTunes?

    I haven't been able to use the replace text script in iTunes for more than 10 items at a time. I hope this update fixes this. Especially with 2000+ mp3s editing titles one at a time can be frustrating.
