Adobe today announced it is shiping InCopy 2.0, a professional copy editor designed to integrate with its InDesign page layout application. The software is designed for writers, editors and copy fitters at magazines and newspapers to manage the entire editorial process. It includes support for XML, enhanced editing tools such as dynamic spell check, and an improved interface that allows users to work on multiple views of a story simultaneously. InCopy is compatible with both Classic and OS X. Pricing is based on individual installations.
