Googie introduces stylish FireWire HD

Denmark-based storage solution manufacturer Googie today introduced the Googie Sandwich FireWire Hard drive. The product sports a sleek Scandinavian design "at its best" and features a stylish aluminum case and a fan-less design, which delivers quiet operation. The drives use the Oxford 911 chipset. It is available in disk configurations of 80GB, 100GB, or 120GB using 7,200 rpm drives (with transfer rates of up to 35MB/sec). Other products from Googie include its compact 'Clamshell' hard disk drive and a bevy of PCI and PCMCIA cards.
