Damon Wright, one of the featured "Windows Switchers" in Apple's Real People campaign, notes that the next round of Real People ads will feature celebrities. His Weblog recounts the selection and filming process, noting that each of the "Joe Regulars" were paid and would receive "some royalties for each time the TV ad hit the waves."
Also of note are his comments on Apple's worldwide marketing manager and her assistant worldwide marketing manager for Apple: "They were fascinating. Twenty-two and twenty-three years of age respectively and they were on their game. If I didn't know better, I'd have thought they'd had at least twenty years in the industry. They had barely six. I have the utmost respect for their instinct and the drive with which they craft it into reality. Quality people all around."
Apple has also posted a dozen or so other Real Stories on switching to the Mac.
