Propellerhead Software is now shipping Reason 2.0, an update to the advanced software synthesizer. It can be used as a self-contained synth studio system with a fast and flexible sequencer with dedicated event editors for each type of device or as a sub-system synchronized to your audio sequencer or a virtual synth rack with your MIDI sequencer. Version 2.0 includes Malström Graintable Synthesizer, The Orkester Sound Library, OS X support, a detachable sequencer, and NN-XT Advanced Sampler. Upgrades to the $400 application are $90.
