A recent Wall Street Journal online reader survey indicates that about sixty percent of participants are either planning to, or already have purchased a Macintosh computer. A majority of voters -- by only a handful -- said that they already own a Mac and plan to use Macs indefinitely.

    Good sign.

I assume these are good numbers as thw WSJ is reputable. Nice to see this happening, look forward to this time next year to see if we've increased our market share.

    Proof

Research has found that while only about 5% of computers sold are Mac far more are in actual use. This is because sales figures do not take into account machines thrown away. How many people still use 8100's or even LC475's vs their PC counterparts?

    Uhm...

Yet another example of why one should never ever trust online polls.

    No such thing as...

bad press. Having something like this in a reputable business news source like the WSJ can only be good for Apple.

Apple hardware still too expensive for you? How about a raffle ticket?

    Self-selecting

A self-selecting poll of people who could be bothered to answer. Ask yourself, how many polls do you answer online?

Completely bogus, especially if they don't say how many responded.
