MacNN reader Colin Sandy notes that Forbes.com praises the new eMac as a great alternative for "those who think the new iMac looks too weird" and touts the eMac's larger screen and lower price tag.

    all I'd like to say,

Thanks to this, I'm definitely looking at one of these for the family. no need for DVD, no need for a limited 15" flat panel screen. The tilt/swivel stand will do it's job, the monitor has a higher screen res. It's inexpensive and perfect for the rest of the family.

but, I will of course wait until Macworld just to make sure the iMac doesn't get something more.
