Archos ships mini, portable USB 20GB drive

Archos is now shipping its MiniHD 20 GB, which it calls the "world's smallest and lightest," ultra-slim portable hard drive. Slightly larger than a deck of cards (measuring 4.7 x 3 inches by only 1/2-inch thick and weighing just 6.5 ounces), the USB 2.0 drive is also compatible with USB 1.1 found on most Macs. The $200 drive includes an interface cable, a manual in five languages and driver on CD. (Last week we noted a USB 2.0 PC card for notebooks, which brings USB 2.0 compatibility to Macs.)
