The Installgen 1.05 application generates the scripts required to install, build, backup and document an Oracle database installation: "Installgenīs scripts are designed to allow a DBA to start with a brand new server containing only an operating system, and complete all of the tasks which are required in order to install an Oracle database." (Oracle is not supported on OS X, but the scripts can be created on OS X.) A one-year license with free updates is $100.
