Rosetta 1.4.9 is an update to the $15 shareware program that provides complete support for decoding BinHex, MacBinary, MIME Base64, uuencode and yEncoded files; rejoining binary files; and making some movie file repairs. Brian Clark has also updated his $25 shareware newsreader, Thoth 1.5.3, with advanced functions such as power-user preferences, automatic FAQ retrieval, queued article and header downloads, quoted text coloring, reference-based article threading, and support for a multi-threaded connection to the news server.
