Nothern Softworks has released its new utility for Mac OS X to simplify the launching of items at startup or login, Login Items Engine v1.0. The tool creates a Login Items folder (similar to the old Startup Items folder in Mac OS 9) and starts up the items contained inside the folder at login. The free software features "set and forget" interface, automatic configuration and a simple GUI.
