MacsDesign Studio today released Web Help Desk 5.6, a powerful web application for technical support designed for education and small to medium sized business customers.
Built with WebObjects 5.1, Web Help Desk 5.6 offers an intuitive web interface and brings enhanced ticketing logic using new Tech Groups and Location Groups, new graphic reports for Tech Groups and Location Groups, improved searching and sorting for job tickets and assets, FAQ search by keyword, customizable, dynamic PDF Asset report creation, detailed Job Ticket download in PDF, and LDAP options for authentication and lookup of Client data.
Other features include assent management, email notifications, configurable email reminders for overdue jobs, graphical reporting, and dynamic PDF report generation.
Pricing for corporate customers ranges from $3000 - $7500, while
education/government pricing ranges from $2000 - $5000. Upgrades are free
for all current Web Help Desk 5.x licensees. An online demo is available.
