ViewSonic has added four displays to its line of CRT/flat-panel monitors, including two CRT displays, the P95f+ and the P75f+, and two LCD monitors, the VE510+ and the VX500+--all of which feature UltraBrite technology to increase screen brightness up to three times higher than normal with the touch of a button.

The 19-inch (18.0" viewable screen) P95f+ PerfectFlat display has an aperture grille pitch of 0.25-0.27mm and supports a resolution of 1920x1440, while the 17-inch (16.0 viewable screen) P75f+ also features an ultra fine 0.25mm aperture grille pitch and a maximum resolution of 1792x1344. The brightness of each display can be boosted up to 300 nits. Each is available in black or beige. They are $345 and $235 respectively.

ViewConic also released the $500 15-inch VE510+ flat-panel LCD display with a brightness of 300 nits, a 450:1 contrast ratio and an optimum resolution of 1024x768. The LCD is housed in a sleek, two-toned metallic and black design and has 2x2-watt bezel integrated speakers. The high-end 15-inch VX500+ features 330 nits of brightness, a contrast ratio of 550:1 and supports up to 1024x768 resolution. The $540 LCD includes bezel-integrated speakers, soft-touch controls and microphone and features OptiSync technology for analog and digital inputs.

They are expected to be available in June.
