ExchangePoint: new collaboration software

updated 10:58 am EST, Sat December 16, 2000

ExchangePoint 1.0 is a new client and server suite from Channel 8 Software that allows two or more users to chat, share files, post news, send and receive private electronic messages, and even draw together on a networked digital whiteboard. It is free to use to join and interact in existing communities; however, customers who wish to build their own online community can buy a personal license for $35 or a company license for $280.

    Can't get it to work

Both a friend and I started a server and tried to connect to each other, unsuccessfully.
We're both on RoadRunner (and I connect through an Airport base station) so maybe the problem has something to do with not getting the correct IP addresses to connect to. Any ideas?
