LuraTech's LuraWave Director Xtra 2.2 is a new plug-in that adds support for .LWF files to Macromedia Director, allowing users to view files compressed with SmartCompress and the LuraWave Photoshop Plug-In, which offer lossless to lossy, scalable, multi-resolution proprietary image compression. The Director Xtra is bundled with SmartCompress for $150 or with the Photoshop plug-in for $200. Limited demo versions of the Xtra plug-in and compression applications are available online.
