Ozone v2.0 is a major retail update to E-on Software's popular 3D plug-in for LightWave. Ozone generates realistic and convincing atmospheric effects that can be added to 3D scenes in LightWave, a popular 3D rendering suite. Version 2.0 adds new algorithms with "breakthrough" results, according to the developer; fast-rendering technology, animated clouds and sunsets, and over one hundred predefined atmospheric designs. Ozone 2.0 will be released at Siggraph 2002 in San Antonio, TX and will ship at an expected retail price of $249.
