Ukraine-based Computer Systems Odessa plans to demonstrate a Mac OS X version of ConceptDraw at Macworld Expo San Francisco next month. ConceptDraw is a cross-platform application for creating business and technical drawings including flowcharts, UML diagrams, web site plans, network diagrams, floorplans, timelines and organizational charts. The company currently has a carbonized beta version of ConceptDraw 1.6 available for free download for registered owners of ConceptDraw 1.58 or earlier.

    Flowcharter for MacOS X !

    Seems ConceptDraw is a first flowcharting tool for MacOS X!
    And it's really cross-platform! I like it :-)

    Er, no.

    While I don't know if OmniGraffle can claim to be the first flowcharting tool for Mac OS X, it did come out a couple of months ago in beta form. It has only one bug I know of, even as a beta 1. Quite usable, and quite nice. And if you're a student, it's $30.

    Visio compatibility

    Is MS still holding back the code keys for Visio translation to and from ConceptDraw? The last time I checked, ConceptDraw uses a "clearing house" to do the job.
