Glucose today introduced Ratchet 1.0, a new utility for OS X that retrieves URLs, email addresses and names from any document: "We have found that Ratchet makes it easier to manage links and email addresses, enhancing and simplifiying our busy lives. We are working on stuffing more interesting tools into Ratchet, such as a tool to eliminate unwanted quoting from emails and rewrap email text." A two-week demo of the $10 application is available online.
