SmartDisk today announced a 16x10x24x version of its portable FireWire CD-R/W. The bus-powered drive features buffer underrun prevention, a compact form factor, (approximately 5.6" x 7" x 1") and a front-loading/ejection CD tray as well as CD burning software. It is due in mid-May for $250.
