Gefen today announced the DVI Hub, a new edition to its suite of DVI-ready products. The DVI Hub lets professional Mac users connect two digital flat panel monitors --or a combination of monitor and projector-- to one workstation. The $600 hub is capable of sending signals along high-quality cabling up to 150 feet (about 38 meters); used in conjunction with Gefen's DVI to ADC Conversion Box, many of Apple's digital displays can be extended for an additional 150 feet. Less expensive alternatives include the $400 DVI Repeater with a 50-foot range.
