SciQuest has released Gene Construction Kit 2.5, an update to the molecular biology software application developed by Textco, a company recently acquired by SciQuest. It offers unique DNA manipulation, cloning design, and illustration tools. It includes a new Deluxe Importer Module for integrated GenBank and EMBL searching and file retrieval over the Internet; a new customizable interface converts all GenBank and EMBL features 'one-to-one' to graphical GCK features; and OS X-compatibility.
