Digital Voodoo today introduced the Iridium AD, an uncompressed 10-bit SDI 64-bit PCI card designed specifically for broadcast designers and visual effects artists. It features dual SD-SDI SMPTE 259M outputs, one analog component output for analog tape decks, a composite output for viewing SD-SDI video, and 6 channels of AES/EBU digital audio. It is compatible with After Effects, PhotoShop, Discreet Combustion, Toolfarm's ColorTheory DV and Boris FX. It is due in the second quarter for $2,500.
