AOL-Time Warner merger approved

The Federal Trade Commission has unanimously approved the merger of America Online and Time Warner. The $111 billion mergerthe largest in historywill create a single media giant with strongs positions in the Internet, television, and printed media markets. In related news, Earthlink, which on November 20 struck an agreement to offer Time Warner's RoadRunner cable modem subcribers a choice of using its ISP, issued a statement that it will go through with that agreement, which will take effect in 2001. What about Microsoft ? I hate to see Windows CE running on cable boxes (This channel has caused an illegal operation... blah blah). Maybe AOL-Timewarner will stop MS in some areas.
