Adobe intros wireless Web authoring tool

Adobe has announced a new wireless authoring module for GoLive 6.0 that enables designers and developers to create and adapt visually engaging Web content for Nokia mobile phones. Developers can create services that can now include audio, images, and video with text. (The press release notes it will be available at Nokia's Developer Website.)

    Windows only

    I downloaded it. It runs on Windows only, no indication of a Mac version available. I guess it'll the same as the WAP Authoring Module Nokia made some time ago. It never got ported to the Mac...

    Probably not. It sounds like this only works with the specialized WAP client available on Nokia phones (which has some additional functionality like icons and such). There is a Newton WAP client (http://newton.guhl.net/newton/NewtWap/) but I doubt that it supports the specific Nokia stuff.

    wap is lame. who want's to get information on a tiny display via slow connection? you can get sportsnews or stockinformation by sms. I don't know anybody who really uses wap.
