The real deal.

Actually, there is some pretty big goings on at this meeting. Shareholders will decide two things - whether an outside committee will decide who sits on the Apple board or if the board members get to decide. A couple big union pension plans are pushing for the outside committee, and Steve and Larry are pushing for the status quo - let Steve decide. I voted by proxy for that also! :)

The second thing, if I remember correctly was to validate another stock option for Steve - something he can really use to make some money since the the original offering has paid him zilch. Not sure if I have that right but I voted with Steve again right down the line. Without him, Apple will rot PDQ!

Why do Apple shareholders continue to vote for Bill Campbell to sit on the board of directors of Apple?? This guy is the head of Intuit, yet he refuses to bring QuickBooks to the Mac!! GET RID OF BILL CAMPBELL!! DON'T VOTE FOR BILL CAMPBELL!

Board MemberStock Options

So do any of you other stock holders have a problem with the extremely generous stock options board members get for just being on the board? 30,000 shares just for becoming a board member? This is one of the items up for a vote at the stockholders meeting. What do you other stockholders think?
