    can shareholder ask . . .

if Apple is going to do something about all those iPods dying just after warranty expires? . . . and why mac.com is repeatedly failing to handle emails?

    Dying iPods

That sucks. Yours died? Mine is going on its 5th month, and strong. Needing 20GB iPod. Oh, this time with those cool new packaging (pics of musicians).

    1 share, zita

If you hold as little as one share, that makes you a shareholder, and able to attend the shareholder's meeting. Even Jobs could attend, were he not already the boss :)

    nice CYA guys!

I liked the message this morning with the squel of joy at the end...seems the macnn folks have deleted their blunder and my super-dooper comment so here's more useless filler bunny.

what was up this morning around 9:00am:
    "Apple shareholders' meeting next wee"

weeeee! shake what your momma gave you!
    we're all having fun here!

    The real deal.

Actually, there is some pretty big goings on at this meeting. Shareholders will decide two things - whether an outside committee will decide who sits on the Apple board or if the board members get to decide. A couple big union pension plans are pushing for the outside committee, and Steve and Larry are pushing for the status quo - let Steve decide. I voted by proxy for that also! :)

The second thing, if I remember correctly was to validate another stock option for Steve - something he can really use to make some money since the the original offering has paid him zilch. Not sure if I have that right but I voted with Steve again right down the line. Without him, Apple will rot PDQ!
