MIDI Monitor v1.1 is a free utility that displays MIDI signals in a variety of formats and can watch both incoming and outgoing MIDI streams as well as filter them by message type and channel, "Musicians will find it handy for tracking down confusing MIDI problems. Programmers can use it to test MIDI drivers and applications." An update allows MIDI Monitor to "spy" on MIDI data as it is sent to destinations by other applications; version 1.1 offers an updated interface to several portions of the software.
