RealViz yesterday announced Stitcher 3.5, an update to its application for building panoramas for film, print, 3D and the Web. Version 3.5 brings a new Forced' Stitch option to create images in the exact position required; new lens distortion correction; the ability to crop final renderings; enhanced Horizon Definition for eradicating 'wavy' cylindrical panoramas; a new Hotspot tool for creating hyperlinked areas; an artifact removal tool; and a new flat stitch function for assembling images of a flat object. It is due in May as a $200 upgrade to v3.1 owners. Full versions of the application are $500.
