    Just another enron

You realize that Apple is just like every other corporation in the United States. They lie, cheat, shred documents, and do other things to make it look like they have a profit. Apple can not afford to have a loss, and they make damn sure they are in the plus. Look at the past several so called profitable quarters... many were only profitable because apple sold large chunks of stock in other companies. This is cheap, and it's also lieing. They did not sell enough computers, nor did they have a decent return on what they were selling, but it's hidden by their cheap tactics. Any other company pulling this BS would be slammed instantly, but you people claim victory. Corporate loyalty is stupid. Most american businesses do this c*** and it's wrong. This is why America will be the next rome. It will all come crashing down when every company comes to the point where they can no longer prop up their sales into profit and the world will realize how inefficient, cheap, and lazy American corporations are (with the exception of Krispy Kream, they make DAMN good donuts! MMm... I think I'll go get one now. Krispy Kream forever... they will keep america strong!) :-)

You realize that Apple is just like every other corporation in the United States.
Yes, they exist for one purpose - to make a profit.

They lie, cheat, shred documents, and do other things to make it look like they have a profit.
Proof? How do you know they've done any of this? (You don't)

Apple can not afford to have a loss, and they make damn sure they are in the plus. Look at the past several so called profitable quarters... many were only profitable because apple sold large chunks of stock in other companies.
This is not illegal - it's how you stay in business. As long as they disclose those facts it is fine. Why the heck do you think companies sell stock? It's so other's (companies and/or individuals) will invest in them with the hopes of reaping financial reward for their investment.

This is cheap, and it's also lieing.
No. Again, as long as they say where the money comes from, it's not.

They did not sell enough computers, nor did they have a decent return on what they were selling, but it's hidden by their cheap tactics.
It's not hidden anywhere, anyone can go read the financial statements. If you can't understand them, you shouldn't be investing in them.

Any other company pulling this BS would be slammed instantly, but you people claim victory.
Again, no. They've done nothing illegal or unethical. They've disclosed fully what they are doing as far as any of us (including you) know.

    Corporate loyalty is stupid.
Only blind loyalty is stupid. Apple is the only manufacturer of systems that I consider worth my $$$ I also am a stockholder and have a vested interest in them doing well. I educate myself by reading their reports and the news about them. None of which indicate any shady deals, unethical practices or illegal dealings going on.

Most american businesses do this c*** and it's wrong.
It's not c*** or wrong - (again, unless they don't disclose it.)

This is why America will be the next rome. It will all come crashing down when every company comes to the point where they can no longer prop up their sales into profit and the world will realize how inefficient, cheap, and lazy American corporations are
Oh - I see now why you think this way - you're an idiot. People have been trying to say this c*** for decades. It's never been true and, as long as our government doesn't s**** it up, it never will be.

    Geesh

It was a joke... wasn't that obvious... didn't the Krispy Kream comment at the bottom give any clue to that? It's even funnier if you knew that Krispy Kream has continually dropping profits, and store closings. I still think Americans are lazy, but that's not the point. :-)

    re: Geesh

Sorry - the whole thing did not sound like a joke. (Yes the Krispy Kream thing was, obviously, a joke.)
Sorry for the flame though, thought you were for real - or at least a very good troller! :-o

I do not, however, share your feeling that American's are lazy. (Although some most definately are!)
