New iMovie 2 plugins offer overlays, borders

eZedia has released eZeMatte 1.0, the first in a series of plug-ins for iMovie 2 that allows users to overlay any QuickTime supported image over an iMovie clip to add borders, frames, themes, logos or any customized graphic. The $30 package includes 10 overlays and the ability to create customized overlays, including adding borders or company logos to a movie or clip. It also automatically re-sizes all images that do not already conform to the DV format size (720 x 480) to fit the frame. (The company also sells eZediaMX 3.0, a multimedia application for creating presentations, videos, slide shows, portfolios, animations and interactive CD-ROM projects.)
