Whoa, so speedy!

128Kbps, huh? So we're supposed to spend money on something slower than LocalTalk?? This sounds like a real loser.

That's faster than a 56K modem & faster than the 19.2K that you get by using a regular cell phone. Seems pretty speedy to me.

    But it's awfully darned expensive.

    There doesn't appear...

...Mac support for this wizard of PCMCIA concoctions. b*******. Bombard them with requests, ladies and gentlemen. This has got to be better than that dorky externally affixed modem by Ricochet themselves.

    By the way...

...128k ain't bad at all. This is roaming, after all, for you forgetful ingrates. Try using it before shooting off your mouths.

    Merlin MSRP

Just talked to sales and they said the MSRP would be $479.00. 128Kbs is great for roaming but they need to bring down the price on the modem especially given the subcription rate.

    IT does support Mac...

...although I don't know how good that support is. But $479.00 + $80 a mnth? Only if it handled my cell calls at that price too.
