Tornado Technologies will be bringing its 3D CAD visualization tool AEC|VIZ to the Macintosh in the third quarter of 2002, according to Architosh. It allows you to fully view and explore 3D CAD files based on industry standard file formats, including DXF, DWG, 3DS, SAT and others.

    Well done young skywalker! With the stability of OSX, macs may find some increased interest among scientists and engineers alike. There's nothing quite like having a computation crash half way through a day long computation. :/ Can you spell frustration? Sure, this is more or less just a file viewer, but let the flood gates open academia and industry is coming home to the mac.
