Matterform Media's Spamfire 1.02 is an email filtering program that removes spam from your in-box. The application works with any POP3 account and any email software using "fuzzy logic filters. A lite ($20) version can delete email from a single email account, while the Pro ($30) support unlimited email accounts and automatically downloads filter updates for up-to-date spam protection. A 15-day demo is available.

    1st POST, BOOH YEAH!!!

You can ussually limit spam by using a throw-away yahoo or hotmail account for all your non-personal internet reg, forum, informal communication stuff. I'm more interested in pop-up and ad blockers. I don't care if they keep the net cheap, I don't wanna see the ads, and I shouldn't have to. But SPAM blokage is nice too.

    -the 'BOOH YEAH' guy.

    IMAP?

Looks good, but only does POP mail. How do I de-spam a IMAP account like my mac.com account. Any ideas?

    It would take days...

.. to create such a comprehensive set of rules and filters. I'm trying out the demo version right now and am impressed. The setup is straightforward and the interaction with [insert mail client here] is basic but effective. Totally impressed and will be picking up two copies: one for work and one for home.
