Two games from Freeverse Software have been updated, CrossCards v2.1 and X-Words v2.1 for Mac OS 9/X. CrossCards ($15) "mixes a Scrabble-type board with poker hands"; X-Words ($20) is a crossword game like Scrabble, but allows you to customize everything from boards to wordlists. Both updates fix a bug that causes menus on some machines running Mac OS X to change color, and another bug that caused crashes on Mac OS 8.6.
