Apple's ability to lure PC converts is one of the reasons it "stands a good chance of outperforming the PC industry in the next 18 months," according to Charles Haddad of Business Week Online. (Over the weekend we noted Apple's solication for PC users' feedback in its "Share what's on your mind" survey".)

    Charles Haddad blows

    Everytime 'Charles Haddad' writes something it seems to always be so sugar-coated. I wish he were more objective with his stories and his sometimes lame 'analysis' of Apple and the Mac market as a whole.

    Yeah, that was similar to my first thought. Well, more like my second. First I thought it was good that they were getting good press (still VERY true). My second thought was a concern about the objectivity of Haddad wrt Apple or anything in general.

    Still good to hear but it would be interesting in hearing what a totally objective analysts thinks. It seems that everyone either loves the Mac or hates it and they don't hide it in their articles.

    And I always feel like the writers of such articles are paid by Apple so it gets good press. Anyway, is this going to help Apple double its market share ? BTW, when they talk about PC converts going from Wintel to the Mac, maybe they should also say how many Mac users give up the Macintosh to buy a PC. Frankly, can we believe this is a one-way thing ?

    ... that when authors are objective, too many in this and other forums immediately start bitching about the negative aspects and how they must be Mac bashers, etc...
