LightWave 6.5 for Mac OS X out today

Newtek plans on posting a public beta of LightWave 6.5 for Mac OS X later today. The software will be available free of charge to LightWave 6.5 customers, and represents the first 3D modeling application available for Apple's next-generation OS.

    Finally. Thank you Newtek

    Finally we have an app worth using under OS X. Lightwave is my 3D app of choice and it's good to see Newtek get a jump on Maya as far as OS X is concerned. Though I am not ruling out Maya as far as 3D programs are concerned, the $6,000+ price tag puts it out of my price range. Go Newtek!
