Sony announces new 4MP P-Series camera

Sony today announced its new Cyber-shot digital still camera, the DSC-P9. The four megapixel digital camera offers an AF Illuminator mode, which briefly illuminates the subject of a picture with an infrared light for an accurate focus lock in total darkness as well as multi-point auto focus and multi-pattern metering for better photos in all lighting conditions. It will ship (with a 16MB Memory Stick) in May for $600.
