RiverSong InterActive will soon release TitleTrack Jukebox 2.0, a hardware and software solution for controlling an entire home entertainment system from a Macintosh computer. This free upgrade will add the ability to control any device that has a remote control, will play MP3 and other sound files and will generate reports. New users can purchase the software for $290.

    Very Nice

    I bought this in June and have it hooked up between my G3 (Beige) 450 and my Sony CPD CX-335 300 disc changer. It rocks. There's just no other way to say it. This really is a great product.

    What about IR?

    Is there specific hardware that allows it to send IR signals? And does this come bundled with it?

    IR

    It does come with an IR controler. It's a small box that connects to the hardware piece with a RJ11 data cable (phone cord sided...not Ethernet). There is a software interface in the TTJ software that lets you learn the remotes. Then when you have it exicute the command on your computer, it sends the right signal to the "small box" and it cares out what you want to done.

    Very Useful

    I've been using TitleTrack JukeBox for a while now and I'm excited about the new version. This allows me to enjoy my music without the hassle. I have a 200-CD Sony changer (and a new 300-CD changer on the way) that's controlled by my Mac - an actual case of my computer technology making my life easier .
