    Can't wait...

    To see those bugs!

I used to really like Macromedia and Flash until they merged with Allaire. I'm suprised they are going to support Macs at all, and would be very suprised if the Mac support isn't quite sub-standard.

Still, I'll at least try it. Hope springs eternal in the Mac-lover's chest.

    Allaire?

They haven't updated their products since they bought Allaire. So why did your view of them diminish when they rounded out their product offerings to give more real functionality across the board?

I doubt Cold Fusion runs on X (but who really cares? I have Apache,PHP,MySQL/PostgreSQL already).

Flash MX looks like a killer app - and looks to allow true robust dynamic development - which is what Flash really needs to get out of it's niche application and into mainstream use. More robust Actionscript, a redesigned (and I hope better) interface, the ability to store your re-usable widgets easily - tweaked timeline. All good things to me...

I for one am really excited (running it native in X is a huge bonus too!).

    They've got my upgrade dollars.

sorreson and jpg support is quite a coup.

    XP Yuck

I always thought that XP looked good but I hadn't seen it next to OS X. As I went throught the feature tour and looked at the different screen shots yuck. XP is tan where OS X is white.

    YA Negative comment

Flash is still stuck with that cell-based timeline. With the improvements to scripting, I'm giving much more serious thought to LiveMotion 2.0
