Proteron is now shipping MaxMenus 1.0, its $30 system utility that adds flexible, customizable menus to the corners of any display: "These menus simplify the locating and launching of applications, documents, volumes, preferences, recent items, photos, music playlists and much more." It allow offers the ability to assign keyboard shortcuts to items, drag and drop into spring loaded menus, process management through its "Application Switcher" menu, and an enhancement to the Dock for starting/stopping Classic and access to System Preferences.

    This is an excellent little app. Indeed it is a must have to take pressure off the dock and to manage your files, apps etc.

    A little more evaluation time (only downloaded it yesterday) and I will be happy to send them my $30 (tho' a little less would net them more cash in the end, I'm sure).

    Nice little App...

    It's a great app. It adds 5 separate spring-loaded menus and right clicking adds a few more options.
    I've used it for about a week now and IMHO it's worth the small investment.
