USB cable lets laptop users charge phones

American Power Conversion today announced a suite of USB-based cables that provide cellular phone owners with the ability to charge a handheld phone's battery using a computer's built-in powered USB port. Supported phones include those made by Nokia, Motorola and Ericsson. The new USB Mobile Phone Chargers are currently available in North America only through for US$20.
