Apple offers Cube refurb for $1299

Apple is currently offering several refurbished products for sale, including Power Mac G4 Cubes for $1299 ($500 off retail, no rebate necessary), 17" Studio Displays (ADC) for $349, and 15" Studio Displays (ADC) for $699. Click on "Special Deals" in the bottom of the sidebar at the Apple Store. Refurbished products come with a 90-day warranty; curiously, no AppleCare extended protection plan is available with the refurbished Cube.

    ADC Premiere members can get brand new G4/450 Cubes for $1299, too. Check the latest pricelist.

    A brand new Cube/15" bundle is only $1999, as well!

    No deal without AppleCare

    There's absolutely no excuse for Apple to offer these refurbs without any significant warranty. If I'm doing them a favor by taking reburb equipment off their hands (at a good price) the least they can do is to stand behind the product.

    Shame, shame. (Although I did buy 1000 shares today at $14 :-)
