ATTO has introduced its ExpressPCI UL4S single-channel and UL4D dual-channel host adapters, which feature Ultra320 SCSI technology with transfer speeds of up to 320 MB/sec. per channel. Both offer packetized SCSI, Quick Arbitration Select (QAS), Pre-compensation and Flow Control for improved throughput as well as 64-bit/133 MHz PCI-X functionality and Vpath Technology for connecting legacy SCSI peripherals without slowing down transfers. with that out of the way. How will macs take advantage of this? AFAIK no current macs use PCI-X.
