Graphic Simulations has begun shipping Black & White, its strategy game that allows gamers to play the role of God and effect the evolution of a small tribe of villagers. The $50 game was released in limited quantities at Macworld Expo, but is now widely available for both Mac OS 9 and OS X.

This game RAWKS!
As you may have guessed, Black & White has been available for the PC for sometime now. Over at my friend's place I watched him play it and I must say, WOW. This game is awesome. It is cool. MacNN's decription is innaccurate, however, because you don't play the role of God, you play a role of a god and you compete against other gods by sending deciples, sending your pet, performing miracles, and many other things. This game is worth every penny. I'm gunna get it! I'm sure every review that will be written about it will support my claims of this being one awesome game. Warning: it's addictive.
