Beatnik ships Mixman StudioPro 4.0

Beatnik has posted Mixman StudioPro 4.0 for the Mac, a $90 consumer DJ remixing application. The tools include Remixing Studio for real-time, performance-based remixing; FX Studio for manipulating component sounds; Editing Studio for precision composition; and Recording Studio to add personalized sounds. Users are now able to export their sound-sets using Beatnik's Rich Music Format, which provides a real-time listening experience that doesn't require streaming.
