Morning tech news: Sony will start selling Linux kits to allow Linux applications to run on its PlayStation 2 game console; The personal computer business of a merged Hewlett-Packard and Compaq would be profitable next year, according to Compaq's CEO Michael Capellas; the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport is offering free AirPort-compatible internet access to laptop owners users beginning in March and is charging others $6-$8 for the use of kiosks.
