PIT today announced the availability of the MemPlug Memory Stick adaptor, a Memory Stick Springboard module for the Handspring Visor that provides up to 128MB storage using a MemoryStick. The $70 adaptor includes seven self-installing applications and registered gMovie Maker software, including software for formatting, file management, application backup/restoration, JPEG viewing, movie playback, and direct viewing of docs and databases. (Handspring also announced the availability of its Treo 180 communicators in Hong Kong and dropped the price on its Visor Pro by $50 to $250.)
